Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Ambientry handles your information. In short: the app is built to keep your data on your device, and this page lists exactly what — if anything — leaves it.

The following stays on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else:

• The photos you choose, cached on your Apple TV so they show without waiting on the network
• Your playback settings, folders and play queue
• Subject positions found by on-device Vision, used only to crop so a face is not cut off

Some features rely on third-party services. When you use them, each service receives only what it needs to do its job:

• Apple iCloud (CloudKit) — Moving the photos you choose from your iPhone to your own Apple TV

iCloud: your data can sync through your own private iCloud account. It's handled by Apple and we can't see it.

The app can access your photo library when you use a feature that needs it. What you capture or pick stays on your device unless you choose to share it.

We do not:

• sell or rent your personal data
• show you ads
• track you across other companies' apps or websites
• build advertising or behavioral profiles about you

This app is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

You can ask us to delete any information associated with you, or ask a question, at fil@fil.technology.

If we change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and its effective date. Earlier versions stay available and dated below.
