Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Fil Technology handles your information. In short: the app is built to keep your data on your device, and this page lists exactly what — if anything — leaves it.

The following stays on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else:

• Camera frames used for pulse, blood oxygen and temperature estimates are analyzed on your iPhone in real time and never saved or uploaded.
• Measurements, tags, notes and calibration readings stay on your iPhone and, with iCloud sync on, in your private iCloud. No account, no BeatLens server.
• Apple Health data you allow (heart rate, HRV, sleep, workouts, breathing, wrist temperature) is used on your iPhone only.
• Research exports are created only when you choose to and are shared only where you send them.

Some features rely on third-party services. When you use them, each service receives only what it needs to do its job:

• RevenueCat — Subscriptions & purchases
  Receives: an anonymous app user id, your purchase receipts, and your device model, OS version, and country.

Apple Health: the app reads and writes Health data on your device. That data stays in Apple Health — it is not sent to us.

Notifications: reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We don't send push notifications.

iCloud: your data can sync through your own private iCloud account. It's handled by Apple and we can't see it.

The app can access your camera when you use a feature that needs it. What you capture or pick stays on your device unless you choose to share it.

We do not:

• sell or rent your personal data
• show you ads
• track you across other companies' apps or websites
• build advertising or behavioral profiles about you

This app is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

This app is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always talk to a qualified professional about your health.

You can ask us to delete any information associated with you, or ask a question, at fil@fil.technology.

If we change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and its effective date. Earlier versions stay available and dated below.
